According to the Istria Tourist Board, Vrsar and Funtana offer dog-friendly beaches in the Porto Sole, Koversada, Polidor and Valkanela campsites, while in Vrsar itself dogs may swim freely along the shore from the marina towards the town beach. Porto Sole lies right beside the Vrsar marina, which means a short walk into town and to the dog-friendly stretch of shore. The campsite is terraced and most pitches are shaded by pines. When booking, check the rules for your chosen unit and the dog supplement; in mobile homes dogs are usually allowed only in certain categories.
