The Logar Valley is a glacial valley below the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, with the Rinka waterfall at its head and marked walking paths along the valley floor. Under the landscape park’s code of conduct dogs must be on a leash, because even a friendly dog can disturb wildlife or grazing livestock, and owners must pick up after them. There are no bins in the valley, so take the bags with you. Stay on the marked paths; the park’s information point is at the start of the valley.
