Hotel Kompas stands on Cankarjeva cesta in the centre of Bled, a few minutes’ walk from the lakeside promenade and from the start of the loop around the lake. Bled’s official tourism website lists it under the amenity “Pets allowed”, meaning the hotel accepts dogs. The list does not say how much the surcharge is or whether dogs are limited to certain room types — confirm that directly with the hotel when booking. The location suits a dog’s routine: the lake and the woodland paths towards Straža are a short walk away, and the morning loop around the lake is still relatively empty before ten.
