Kavarna Park above the lakeside promenade is best known for the Bled cream cake, but for dog owners it is interesting for another reason: Bled’s official tourism website states that in summer four-legged guests can treat themselves to dog ice cream at Kavarna Park. Sitting with a dog makes most sense on the outdoor terrace, which looks out over the lake and the island — the rules for the interior are not stated, so ask the staff before going in. Many cafés and restaurants in Bled will also bring a bowl of water for your dog. The terrace is very busy in summer, so come outside peak hours.
