Hotel Tabor is a family-run city hotel in Maribor’s Tabor district, about a 15-minute walk from the old town and Lent, with a 24-hour reception and a large fenced car park in the courtyard. Under the house rules pets are allowed in certain standard rooms; there are only a limited number of them, so you must declare your dog when booking. The surcharge is €10 per pet per night. Dogs must be on a leash inside the hotel and are not allowed in the hotel restaurant, while the hotel courtyard gives them room to move and drinking water. The hotel also stores bikes and ski equipment, making it a handy base for autumn and winter trips to Mariborsko Pohorje.
