On the Verudela peninsula near Pula, a dedicated section has been set up alongside the pebbly Ambrela beach where dogs can swim and run without disturbing other bathers. The Pula tourist board lists Verudela among the beaches with a designated dog section. The beach has showers, toilets and food and drink service, while shade comes from the pines above the shore — in summer come early, as the car park fills up quickly.
