Apartma Torkar is in Bohinjska Bela, in the Sava Bohinjka valley a few kilometres from Bled towards Bohinj. Bled’s official tourism website lists the property under the amenity “Pets allowed”. Check the dog surcharge with the host when booking. For dog owners the village makes sense if Bled’s summer crowds put you off: the accommodation is away from the lakeside bustle, with forest and field paths and river access nearby. Lake Bled is a short drive, and the Vintgar Gorge — where dogs are allowed on a leash with their own ticket — a little further.
