Biohotel St. Daniel is a small hotel with organic cuisine, an outdoor pool and a healing & spa area in Hruševica, a few kilometres from Štanjel. Two dogs and two cats live at the hotel, so guests with dogs are genuinely welcome, but for space reasons only dogs up to 10 kg and at most one dog per room. The dog must be announced in advance, and its stay carries a surcharge per the price list (the amount is not given on the website). In common areas the dog must be on a leash or in a carrier; don’t leave it alone in the room and don’t let it sleep on the bed or sofa; it is not allowed in the wellness area. The hotel also operates in winter: the restaurant runs a winter dinner schedule from October to May (at 18:00, by prior reservation). The surroundings are ideal for autumn walks across the Karst heath to Štanjel.
