Hotel Kompas is the largest hotel in Kranjska Gora, on Borovška cesta at the foot of the ski slopes. Pets are allowed in selected rooms of Hotel Kompas (and in the Vitranc apartments) for a surcharge of €15 per night, and the dog must be declared when booking – otherwise, under the general terms, the surcharge rises to €30 per night. The hotel does not provide pet food, and you clean up after your dog on the hotel grounds. Dogs are not allowed in the wellness area, gym, restaurants, bars or conference rooms (guide dogs excepted). The hotel takes guests in late autumn too – its “Stecite v zimo” package at Kompas runs 12–26 November 2026 – and in winter it is a handy base for Planica, Zelenci and walks along the Pišnica.
