The maintained footpath along the Pišnica runs from Kranjska Gora to Lake Jasna and is one of the most popular dog walks in Gorenjska: it is flat, shaded and wide enough for dogs to pass each other without stress. Several access points lead down to the water, where a dog can cool off in the cold Pišnica or run along the gravel bank, with views up to the Alpine peaks above the valley. The route is easy and works in every season, which makes it a good choice in summer when the coast is too hot. As it borders Triglav National Park and is a popular family walk, keep your dog leashed and clean up after it.
