Telašćica Nature Park in the southern part of Dugi otok combines the calm Telašćica bay, the salt lake Mir and the steep cliffs above the open sea. The park’s official rules of conduct state that dogs must be tethered and led on a leash, and visitors may only move along the marked paths. The walk from the bay to Lake Mir is short and undemanding, but there is little shade — in summer come in the morning and bring plenty of water.
