Ramova is a marked dog beach in Makarska, in the northern part of the Makarska riviera. The beach is listed by Croatia Pet Guide as a verified dog-friendly location in central Dalmatia. Makarska has intense summer heat due to heat reflected off Mount Biokovo, so a visit to the dog beach is best early in the morning or in the late afternoon. The main beaches in the centre of Makarska restrict pet access during the bathing season.
