The Dom pod Storžičem mountain lodge (1,123 m) sits at the head of the Lom valley above Tržič and can be reached by car. According to the Tržič tourist board, pets are welcome. From 1 October to 31 May the lodge is open at weekends, from Friday 1 pm to Sunday evening (groups also midweek by arrangement), and every day from June to September. There are 70 beds in two-, four- and six-bed rooms and in dormitories, and the cooking is done on a wood stove. The lodge is a base for Storžič, Javornik and Košuta, and in winter a sledging run is prepared on the forest road from Grahovše. The source does not state a dog fee.
