Koča Tisa hut (Velika planina)

Koča Tisa is one of the herdsmen’s huts that AlpineResorts rents out on Velika planina (address Velika Planina 90, Stahovica, 2 minutes from the chairlift’s middle station). According to the hut’s page, pets stay free of charge, and the hut has a fenced yard. It sleeps up to 8 in three bedrooms; the Finnish sauna is included, the Viking hot tub costs extra (€60/night) and cleaning is €75 per stay. The operator says five huts are already taking guests and a sixth (Krnica) opens in December 2026 — for November dates, check the availability calendar on the hut’s page. You reach the plateau by the cable car from Kamniška Bistrica, where a dog ride costs extra; under the lift operator’s rules dogs must be on a leash across Velika planina and should be kept away from grazing cattle.
