Dog feefree

In Fiesa, in the bay below Piran and right beside two small freshwater lakes, there is an area where dogs are welcome. The beach is part sand and part shingle, which is more comfortable for playing and swimming than bare concrete, and dogs are also allowed on part of the coastal path between Fiesa and Piran. Note that the managed bathing area in Fiesa is not open to dogs — the dog-friendly part is separate, so follow the signs. Parking in Fiesa fills up quickly in summer and is expensive; walking in from Piran along the coastal path is the nicer option with a dog.
