Veštar bay lies a few kilometres south of Rovinj, away from the crowds of the town. The Rovinj tourist board lists it among the official zones where swimming with a dog is allowed (alongside Cuvi, Kaštelan, Cisterna and Škaraba). The shore is pebbly and rocky with pine forest behind it, so there is enough shade even in midsummer. Bring water for your dog, as facilities in the bay are minimal.
