Lučina on Pašman appears on the dog beach list of the Prijatelji životinja association. Pašman is reached from the Zadar Riviera by ferry from Biograd to Tkon, and the island is quiet and sparsely populated — a big advantage for dogs that find crowds exhausting. The beach is natural, shingle and rock, with clean shallow water; there is no built infrastructure, so expect to look for shade under the pines along the shore. Under current rules the dog must be leashed on the beach, and the owner must clean up after it.
