Vrsi, north of Zadar, has two dog beaches on the list of the Prijatelji životinja association: Mulo and Ričina. Mulo is a shallow sand-and-shingle bay in the Nin bay, where the sea warms quickly by the shore and stays extremely shallow — for dogs that are afraid of water, it is one of the friendliest entries on the Zadar Riviera. There is not much in the way of facilities, so bring water and a parasol. Because it is so shallow the water is warm in summer, which means rinsing your dog after a swim and not letting it drink seawater.
