The Lim Bay is a 12-kilometre drowned canyon between Rovinj and Vrsar, framed by wooded slopes. One simple rule applies to visiting with a dog: walks along the paths on the rim are allowed with your dog on a leash, but dogs may not swim in the bay, to protect the shellfish and fish farms. Viewpoints above the bay are reachable by car plus a short walk, while the descent to the shore is steep. If you are planning a boat trip along the bay, check the dog rules with the operator — smaller private charters usually take dogs, while the larger group boats often refuse them in season.
