Visiting Brijuni with a dog is possible, but only along a precisely defined route. Park rules prohibit dogs running free, a separate dog ticket is charged, and movement is permitted in the harbour of Veliki Brijun from the southern breakwater past the Pave and Magnolija villas to the northern breakwater, plus the fenced grounds of Villa Lovorka. Dogs may swim along a 50-metre stretch from the southern breakwater towards Jupiter beach. During the boat crossing and the tour, dogs that are dangerous by nature or training must wear a muzzle; only therapy and assistance dogs may exceptionally enter buildings open to visitors.
