Duboka Draga in the village of Lozice on the island of Vir appears on the dog beach list of the Prijatelji životinja association. Vir is connected to the mainland north of Zadar by a bridge, so it is reachable without a ferry — a real relief with a dog in the car. The beach lies in a sheltered bay, with a sand-and-shingle shore and a gentle, long shallow entry into the sea.
