Plaža Ričina – plaža za pse (Vrsi pri Zadru)

Ričina is the second of the two dog beaches in the municipality of Vrsi near Zadar listed by the Prijatelji životinja association. The bay lies north of the village, facing Velebit, and is more natural and less busy than nearby Mulo beach. The shore is shingle and rock, and the sea is shallow and calm — except in the bura, which can be fierce in this part of the Adriatic; if bura is forecast, postpone the trip. There is almost no shade, so bring a parasol and plenty of water; the dog must be leashed and you must clean up after it.
