At the far end of the Semedela promenade there is a dog beach, separate from the regular bathing areas, where dogs may go into the sea. Nearby there is also a fenced dog park in the Semedela mandrač (small harbour), where dogs can move around off-leash. The Municipality of Koper otherwise requires a leash on green areas, and there are dog-waste bins along the paths.
