Pasja plaža Sv. Jernej (Ankaran)

Dog feefree

Sv. Jernej beach lies at the far north of the Slovenian coast, near the former Lazaret border crossing, and is one of the quieter dog spots around Ankaran. It is an unmanaged stretch of shore, which means fewer people but also no shade and no showers — bring water and a parasol. Ankaran also has a marked section of beach inside the Adria campsite and a few wild beaches. Note that dogs are not allowed on the managed bathing area at Debeli rtič, and breaking a posted dog ban on a beach can cost you up to 200 euros.
